I think that the most improbable part of the laptop story is that Hunter Biden would bother to have a laptop repaired or that he would take a laptop containing sensitive material to a mom-and-pop computer repair shop where he didn't know the proprietor personally. People with the kind of money Hunter Biden has don't repair old laptops, they trash them and buy new. They also send their assistants to run their errands rather than doing them themselves.
