...WORSE is NOT an option...............

Yeah not hard to improve on rock bottom... He needs a good season. Not one where the QB out rushes him.

We talk about what this emphasis on OL would do for Josh Allen.....but not about what this does for Shady

Look for a resurgence of Shady McCoy next year

I agree shady is gonna have room to cut this year and get to the second level often like he used to....he was asked to be a power back last year just because that's all that was there with the dumpster fire of an o line

Shady is playing to collect a check.  He will not be an important part of the 2019 season.

If this was the case he’d be gone.

Nah, he is a sunk cost and there is zero purpose to cut him at this point.  Literally no possible advantage to the Bills to cut him at this moment.

Shady has no desire to take hits anymore, that was evident last season. That concussion changed him IMO

Average would definitely be a step up from last year.

My opinion is the OL coach and his preferred scheme made the players we had look worse than they were.

Improving the OL coach alone would be a step up from last year.

Consider who you are addressing, it is a troll.

I think he'll be really happy if they draft "Alabama" OT Jonah Williams.

I know I'll be happy if they draft Jonah at #9.  👍

What makes this a massive line?

I am thinking line averages 320 lbs and 6' 6", although this is just quick math.   Probably just sounds massive to me.  Maybe they were that big before, but they just looked smaller as they were being run over almost every time Shady touched the ball.

Vlad Ducaca resembles that remark.

He may be smiling over Frank Gore and maybe even grinning over Mitch Morse,

but I think he'll wait to see what the rest of the OL guys look like in camp first.

...rather have him NOT smile and "show up in 2019" versus last year's "OL Whinefest" debacle.......damn Rockpile Beerman had MORE yards for "slightly" less money.....

It wasn't Vlad's fault.  He wanted to block but couldn't quite get his footing as he was being pushed back into Shady.

YPC has declined 2 straight years.  Not sure it can get worse than 3.2?  I wouldn't expect too much.

He's not a 31 year old Frank Gore.

If Shady doesn’t break 4 YPC with a minimum of 200 carries then you walk down the turnpike in heels and a skimpy outfit.

Must be the dead of winter, also.  Too bad this comment is lost on most of the posters here.  He's most likely done and I'd like to see him gone from the team.  Time for new blood.  As another astute poster pointed out, how many other team captains have been benched or disciplined from the head coach for being an immature idiot during the season?

We will see

I got 5 bucks that Shady's numbers improve

Pretty safe bet considering the year he just had.

Safe bet is McCoy's ypc goes up from last season and Gore's goes down.

the Hope is

 Both go up.
Shady will be better used in PA. Allen rarely looked at him last year while watching the deep plays and waiting. even though the outlet was there
i will back that five with another five. LM will show up.
