I'm still for spending the 1st and 2nd Rd picks on offense.  In particular I want offensive weapons but if there's a lineman there and we're not completely set after free agency - then I'm good with it.

I think it's time to take advantage of this draft to make the offense a problem - not just a better.  McD is a talented defensive coach and he needs to make it happen without significant additions to what he's got.

that is exactly why, when given a chance I went offense first.

a CB/S/LB can be found in UDFA

So if Ed Oliver is on the board at 9, along with Metcalf and Hockinson, would you still pick one of the offensive guys? I only ask because I can't see any way Oliver isn't the BPA at that pick. It wasn't long ago he was projected to go 1 or 2 overall, and I actually was excited to have a shot to grab him early this season when we were getting blown out weekly. I think Metcalf and Hock are both good players, I think I just have a draft crush on Oliver and would be ecstatic if we landed him.

That pick at 9 would be underwhelming

From walterfootball

9.  Buffalo Bills: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

The Bills are desperate for offensive play-makers and blockers, but I can't imagine them passing up on Ed Oliver if he's available. With Kyle Williams retired, Buffalo needs a dominant presence in the interior of the defensive line, and Oliver can provide that.

Oliver was a highly productive defensive lineman for Houston, recording a ridiculous 22.5 TFLs as a freshman. He was a monster this season before getting hurt and once projected to be a top-five pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

If a high rated OT is there at 9 ,  Taylor,   I still  take him so far

11.   Cincinnati Bengals: Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

The Bengals wanted to spend two early picks on offensive linemen in last year's draft. They managed to snag only one last year in Billy Price. They'd love to obtain the top tackle in the 2019 NFL Draft at No. 11 overall.

Jawaan Taylor has some great feet for his size (6-5, 340) and likely will be the first tackle off the board.
