Bills Packers similarities

Recommended Posts

It's amazing how similar our teams are. We both are small town communities, both have long winters, both border the Great Lakes, both have been to 4 SuperBowls. We think of The Bills and their fans like family, Nothing but love for y'all. Sending that message over Lake Michigan through the State of Michigan over Lake Huron into Canada over Lake Ontario into Buffalo.

“Welcome to Wisconsin” was not something I expected to hear so often when I wore my Bills gear around town last year. I think in Philly or Oakland they might be more likely to lure you into a dark alley.

Keep your Bills gear in the closet until you get a feel for things.

Good luck with the move!

I’ve always liked GB. My team in the NFC. But ever since Aaron Rodgers I like them less. Loved Brett Favre.

You just happened to win all your SB's with three different HOF QB's.  We may compare similarly as a fan base, but we resemble the Vikings more as a franchise.

Correct.  Both have 4 SB trips.  Both have 4 losses.

He’s either trying to fit in with us “southerners” from WNY, or he’s a Phins fan trying to troll us. Should we start a poll?

No need.  I was waiting for a slip up.  Now we know.

A nine year successful troll deserves to go on the Wall of Fame.  Well done.

Come on Augie and Gugny. You guys know I'm a packer fan lol. I just think saying Love y'all sounds better than saying I love you. Then it sounds more like a romantic relationship lol.

Oh, no!  Does that mean if Buffalo wins a Super Bowl in the next few years, Josh Allen will start doing those annoying State Farm commercials?

Yeah, but the cheesesteaks make it worth the muggings.

Ice Bowl, always nice to hear from you.  I’ve never been to Green Bay, but sounds like you’re right as far as the similarities.  Guys, Ice Bowl was trying to give Buffalonians a compliment.

Several friends that live near Philly and one who had his son go to college at Temple. He learned never go too far from campus. Look no further then last years SB celebrations. Place went crazy and they had to grease poles. Famous for throwing batteries at Santa Claus....But great cheesesteaks :)

I've said it before, I will say it again, If I wasn't a Bills fan, I'd be a Packers fan.

Besides the winning culture in Green Bay and the losing one in Buffalo, nearly identical.

I will say when the packers do good it always gives me a glimmer of hope that a small market team can win it all.

The main difference of course being that you've had back-to-back legit HOF QB on the roster and have had 5 seasons that didn't see playoffs/overall winning record this century

PS best of luck with new HC Matt LeFleur and with retaining Mike Pettine as DC.

That's the main reason they haven't been back to the Super Bowl in years .... Rodgers and Matthews spend too much time making commercials and not enough time trying to get better.

The Packers have had 2 HoF QB’s and 2 SB championships over the last ~20 years.

The Bills have had neither over the last twenty years.

Yeah...real similar.  😞
