Disgraceful, but not surprising

DENVER — Before Colorado's Secretary of State put out a news release calling for a boycott of Alabama over the state's new abortion ban, her office sent the news release to Planned Parenthood for suggestions and edits.

On Thursday, Secretary of State Jena Griswold (D) announced she was restricting employee travel to Alabama in response to a strict abortion ban signed into law last week.

"Whether you agree with Planned Parenthood's platform or not, I think we can all agree that we should not have our policies in the state dictated to us by special interest groups and lobbying organizations," Staiert said. "I don't think it's appropriate. I don't think it's ethical. I think it's wrong."

We see who the extremists are !  Why are you whining about late-term ?  No one wants that.......Sure

Kermit Gosnell was convicted under Pennsylvania's Abortion Control Act for killing 21 infants in utero later than 24 weeks into pregnancy.

On Thursday, congressional Democrats reintroduced a bill that would invalidate Pennsylvania's abortion limit.

Should Any Late-Term Abortion Be Illegal? Democrats Won’t Say.

RTX6TZ26.jpg?fit=789%2C460&ssl=1
Their bill would eliminate almost all limits nationwide.

Congressional Democrats responded to a spate of state laws aimed at restricting abortion on Thursday by reintroducing the Women’s Health Protection Act.

The measure wouldn’t merely prohibit states such as Georgia and Alabama from banning abortion early in pregnancy if Roe v. Wade were overturned. It would also invalidate most state laws limiting late-term abortion, including Pennsylvania’s 24-week limit, under which notorious abortionist Kermit Gosnell was convicted in 2013 for killing 21 infants in utero (in addition to his conviction for murdering three infants with scissors after they had been born).

Indeed, it would wipe almost all state limits on abortion, including mandatory waiting period and ultrasound requirements, off the books.

Federal control..............................that's the best way..........?

Democrats, the party of abortion

Washington Examiner, by Editorial

Original Article

Democrats are not primarily driven to defend workers, equality, the environment, the poor, the elderly, or any of the other things they often claim they’re fighting for.

They are, above all else, defenders of abortion on demand. The Democratic Party is, bluntly, an arm of the abortion lobby.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which oversees party efforts to win House elections, last week announced that it was canceling a fundraiser for Rep. Dan Lipinski of Illinois. Lipinski once again faces a primary challenge based on the single issue of abortion. He is the last anti-abortion congressman in the party.

Now I understand why Republicans like to discredit actors and our political views.

“Stay in your lane, Jon!”
“Has been!”
“F-lister trying to stay relevant!”
“Nobody cares what an out of touch actor thinks!”

Voight, 80, has played acting roles for five decades, including his quick rise to stardom playing in Midnight Cowboy alongside Dustin Hoffman in 1969, and he played prominent roles in Deliverance and Coming Home, which won him an Oscar for Best Actor.

Milano, 46, became famous for her role as Samantha Micelli on TV’s Who’s the Boss from 1984-92. She won favorite TV actress three straight years (1988-90) for the Kids' Choice Awards and won a pair of Young Artist Awards in the 1980’s for her work on Who’s the Boss.

Supreme Court upholds Indiana abortion law requiring fetal remains ...

After national controversy surrounding the Planned Parenthood abortion businesses’ sale of aborted babies and aborted baby body parts, then Indiana Governor Mike Pence signed into law a new measure providing that aborted babies may be buried or cremated.

The new law would help stop the kind of sale of aborted babies and their body parts that Planned Parenthood facilities in other states have been caught arranging. Although Roe v. Wade prohibits states from banning abortions, pro-life advocates in Indiana believed the aborted baby ought to at least be treated respectfully even if the abortion clinic treated the baby with disrespect before the abortion.

But Planned Parenthood sued to stop the law from being enforced and the lawsuit eventually made its way to the Supreme Court.

Today, the nation’s highest court issued an order allowing Indiana to enforce the law.

Lies like this ?

Quote

Enthusiasm to pass abortion bans in Republican-dominated states provides stark contrast to the more muted efforts to protect abortion rights in states controlled by Democrats.

You lit up the God-damned Empire State Building to celebrate a law permitting abortion right up to the birth

Also:

Notice the language. “pass abortion bans” vs “protect abortion rights”

That really showcases where the supposed ‘objective journalists’ stand.

Remember when abortion was supposed to be safe, legal, and RARE?

Seems our ‘pro-choice’ friends have tried to forget or completely do away with the ‘rare’ portion of the law. They had to know when they went to extremes attempting to legalize abortion up to and including birth the pushback would be monumental.

supremecourt.gov/orders/courtorders/052819zor_2dq3.pdf

Clarence Thomas just now:

"Enshrining a constitutional right to an abortion based solely on the race, sex, or disability of an unborn child, as Planned Parenthood advocates, would constitutionalize the views of the 20th-century eugenics movement.”

"Given the potential for abortion to become a tool of eugenic manipulation, the Court will soon need to confront the constitutionality of laws like Indiana’s."

https://www.nationalreview.com/2009/07/ruth-bader-ginsburg-and-question-eugenics-jonah-goldberg/

Here’s what Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said in Sunday’s New York Times Magazine: “Frankly I had thought that at the time [Roe v. Wade] was decided,” Ginsburg told her interviewer, Emily Bazelon, “there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”

The comment, which bizarrely elicited no follow-up from Bazelon or any further coverage from the New York Times — or any other major news outlet — was in the context of Medicaid funding for abortion. Ginsburg was surprised when the Supreme Court in 1980 barred taxpayer support for abortions for poor women. After all, if poverty partly described the population you had “too many of,” you would want to subsidize it in order to expedite the reduction of unwanted populations.

Left unclear is whether Ginsburg endorses the eugenic motivation she ascribed to the passage of Roev. Wade or whether she was merely objectively describing it. One senses that if Antonin Scalia had offered such a comment, a Times interviewer would have sought more clarity, particularly on the racial characteristics of these supposedly unwanted populations.
