I'm prayin they lose, but if they don't at least i'm takin the family out for a steak dinner on the Boston Whiners. Pain Management. Not a bad strategy, but then it's like the joy of a Patriots loss is costing you $200! I guess it's worth it! Maybe I can take out a similar bet, but not on the outcome of the game. Let's say you bet the Chiefs moneyline(just to win), you'd win somewhere around 150 for the 200 dollar bet grossing 350. The Pats are the dog so you're going to WIN more than you bet (270 grossing 470). You profit either way(assuming you win), but the profit will always be greater for the dog.
