Did he care about his teammates when he decided to lie to the organization? All signs point to this dude being nothing but a scumbag thug. Good luck to the Browns for dealing with that mess. It's more akin to the Gronk and Tre White incident than Kareem Hunt's. Teammates have gotten in fights thousands of times and will continue to do so. IK just nailed him so bad it leaked. IK was never getting criminal charges, neither will Michael Jordan for punching Steve Kerr, or Gronk for Tre. Teammates will get suspended for a fight gone wrong.. It ain't a good look sure. It's not criminal. Are we seriously going to cry foul on Michael Jordan punching a teammate now? Just use another example lol. If Zay Jones mercilessly beat some random dude - OUTSIDE OF SPORTS - and broke his jaw, yes that's assault and we and the league would have a criminal problem much more similar to Kareem Hunt.. who by the way has assaulted dudes.. than freaking IK Enemkpali vs Geno Smith. He clearly made a mistake, a party went sideways, I'm sure he regretted what he did but it all went away at first and so at 23 he unwisely decided it would all stay away and he lied to KC about it. It happens to non NFL people too. Even if he hadn't made those mistakes he was serving alcohol to a minor. The video surfacing and forcing him to be fully accountable was a blessing in disguise for him. His future actions will tell. Anyway, he was accused of kicking a man at a nightclub in January 2018. He was also accused punching a man in a bar in Ohio that June. Having a rough childhood might justify the actions of the child at the time; not years after his rough childhood. All I hear are excuses and how "great" of a guy he is. I'm not buying it.
