He did have a great start to season with Fitzmagic at QB (275 yards and 3 TDS first two games). Although injuries have been a factor recently, has only one 1000 yard season the last four years, and averages 4 TDs a season; I think he can thrive with a QB that can stretch the field. Bringing him on with Allen could provide a similar spark. He averaged 19 yards per catch last season. Both McD and Beane said Shady was in their future for next season. With all that cap space and one year left on his contract I don’t see that changing. Not sure os his age when they did that. This was my 1st thought after reading the OP. Lofton was a good and deep complement for Reed during 90 esp, even on the backside of his career. Dont care about his age or what’s left in the tank. Signing him doesn’t change the draft strategy or free agency at all. He'd probably become a headache when he didn't get the ball as much as he'd like. I'd much rather they target John "Smokey" Brown, who probably would've had a 1,200 yard, 8 TD season if not for Lamar Jackson. Not sure os his age when they did that. Lofton was 33 when he joined the Bills. I think there are better options out there for the Bills, but I wouldn't be against adding DeSean Jackson.
