Jacobs will be great as an all purpose back. He is a quality receiver and would be a huge asset to Allen.

He is probably going in the 1st. His stock has risen a ton. Every year I fall in love with a player (last year it was Mayfield) and this year it is Jacobs. Solid blocker, runs hard, passionate about the game, and a weapon as a receiver. I hate 1st round RBs but I'd make an exception for him, IF we can trade down.

Just did this one on FanSpeak. Would have liked to address RB earlier but it just didn't shake out properly for that. Only doubled up on WR with Anthony Johnson because he was BPA by almost 20 spots on the big board.

Would be THRILLED with this draft, but I have a feeling McBeane stays away from Oliver due to character concerns. If we sub out another D player, edge rusher or something in that spot that would be on par too. Harry in the second and anthony johnson? Yes please. Hopefully we bulk up the o-line during FA (expected) if that looks like our draft. Nice job.

Great job, but where’s the RB?  Gotta have at least one, maybe 2.

Pointless exercise at this point in the offseason.  Actually, it's pointless up until your pick is on the clock and you see who is available.

I think Beane probably needs to use draft capital to somehow come away with two first rounders if he wants a shot at Jacobs. I really like him. One of the Alabama fellas here said he reminded him of a lesser Thurman Thomas. I just think we also need to come away with DL, OL, or WR as well in the first. If we somehow got Metcalf and Jacobs with some solid oline adds in free agency, this team looks a lot better. (Oh, and T. J. Hockenson, the other Iowa TE, would be nice later in the draft.)

It's amazing what this kid went through. Living in cars and welfare hotels after his mom abandoned the family. This kid was no 5 star recruit either. I watched him his entire career and he just kept getting better at really every category. And, he is a mellow kid, a complete gentleman or so it seems.

As sad as I am to see him leave Bama I am happy for him and hope he makes millions of dollars. Hopefully, #1 recruit Trey Sanders will fill his shoes. :) This kid is already predicting that he will win the Heisman or "at least be a finalist." Saban will have to calm his a** down.

Who would the Texans be jumping up to 9 for where they'd be willing to give up 2 2nd round picks for?
