Pick your Bills 2018 awards, MVP, ROY, etc.

Recommended Posts

MVP: Josh Allen - the team was 5-5 when he played the whole game, and 1-5 when he didn't

OPY: Josh Allen - he accounted for over 81% of the team's total offensive yards and 85% of the team's first downs in games he started and finished; he was the whole offense

DPY: Tre White - showed again that he can play both man and zone, and do a fine job taking away half the field a lot of the time

ORY: Josh Allen

DRY: Tremaine Edmunds

Comeback Player of the Year: Matt Barkley - hadn't started a game in 2 years and gave the team a much-needed actual-NFL-QB-performance in a road win

Defensive MVP: You don’t have Hughes or Tre?

Yeah Jerry Hughes was a beast , he was my first thought with Tre,Poyer ,Milano Hyde as close seconds.

Hyde especially didn't have eye popping stats but the way he's able to disguise his coverages is a huge reason we were the best pass D by a significant margin. Him and Poyer are as good as it gets in the back end

Wouldn’t go away player be Vontae Davis?

Cause he, you know, went away...

I'm pretty sure wouldn't go away player of the Year would be Peterman.

Do you have to be on the team last year to be in the running fore comeback POY. If not Foster should get it.

Comeback Player of the Year - Zay Jones, HM Shaq Lawson

Offensive Rookie of the Year - Josh Allen, HM Robert Foster

Defensive Rookie of the Year - Tremaine Edmunds, HM Taron Johnson

Team ROY - Josh Allen, HM Robert Foster

Defensive MVP - Lorenzo Alexander, HM Jerry Hughes

Offensive MVP - Josh Allen, HM Robert Foster
Team MVP - Lorenzo Alexander, HM Josh Allen

Few comments: People giving Kyle team MVP using their hearts not heads. Milano had a good season but no where close to how good Lorenzo was this year. He did it all and he played an insane amount of snaps. Old Man Zo's year is really being overlooked by a lot of you guys. Give the big man some respect!

Comeback Player of the Year - Lorenzo

Offensive Rookie of the Year - Foster

Defensive Rookie of the Year - Wallace

Team ROY - Wallace

Defensive MVP - Lorenzo

Offensive MVP - No one qualifies IMO. Roll the dice.
Team MVP - Lorenzo

Let's face it. 2 UDFA rookies outperformed everyone that we drafted (Wallace, Foster). Lorenzo was EASILY the best player on the field for us in 2018. No one on offense really stood out. Foster was just OK, but that was as good or better than anyone else on that side of the ball. We need to retool the OL before anything else this offseason or 2019 will be a very difficult season as well.

Defensive MVP - Tre White (a lot of what the Bills are able to run defensively is due to his ability to own his side of the field)
