Any WRs via high draft pick or FA in this off-season that give us a bonafide #1?

That's my ultimate priority I want to see this off-season. I know we have the money and likely a decent draft position. I'd take an elite pass rusher if it's there for the taking and no great WR or OL is available but I want a stud WR and OL, OL, OL, OL.

I have no idea if there's that guy in the top 10 in the draft. Don't want to reach for a Ted Ginn type if this draft is weak. And if Tyrell Williams is available (I keep hearing him come up), he's a solid get we should go after but that's not enough IMO.

Who's the best guy in the draft ? Who's the best guy likely available in FA? That's essentially my question.

I agree with the sentiment.

I would not be disappointed if we drafted high for other positions of need if that’s BOPA, but I hope we don’t go too high on defense.

As this season wraps up, I think the highest priority has to be providing Allen with all the tools he needs to be successful. I’ve never been a fan of drafting based on need, but this coming offseason is different. We’ve established that Allen is the prospective future. We have to go forward in that regard.

I'm reading DK Metcalf.. but as a reach at the position we'd currently draft at. Not that I mind it so long as he's not a Heyward Bey or Ted Ginn type reach. Really wouldn't want to blow that pick like that.

Shannon Sharpe says he plays with a piano on his back ?.

But no i'd love it. Have a hard time seeing McDermott go for it but seems like a good fit for Allen . I wouldn't bank on him being my no. 1 however. Really looking for a stud here.

I think our need for literally every offensive position other than Quarterback gives us leeway for BPA regardless. Ideally WR but whatever. Any position on offense.

Unfortunate that it's stacked on D but if there's no WR (which is really what I want to know) I think a trade down for as many OL first round grades as possible is gravy as well.

I'd still take a Mike Evans caliber WR if such exists with a high pick.

I've been following Arizona State since 1995 and N'Keal Harry is the first Sun Devil I've rooted for the Bills to use a 1st rd pick on in all that time. The draft experts have him going late 1st; I haven't heard a straight answer about what they are dinging him for, but I suspect it is raw speed. If he runs faster than expected at the combine, everyone will probably like him a lot more. He is 6'4" and near 220; he makes contested catches; he is a strong runner after the catch; he was effective returning punts. He seems like a decent kid and teammate. The best comparison to a Bills player I could make is he's like a bigger version of Moulds.

Good assessment, but some draft experts have him going in the top 5.  I need top see more film on him to verify if he is indeed a top 5 and potential top pick for the Bills.  Dude had looked good in some game I've seen.

I'm hoping we go NKeal Harry or Marquise Brown in either a trade down from #6 or with our 2nd. Anthony Johnson from Buffalo in RD2 would also be a nice consolation prize if we miss out on Harry or Brown. Follow up with Parris Campbell with our first RD4 pick. Worst case scenario is we walk away with Johnson and Campbell and I'm damn cool with that. I think Johnson from Buffalo would beat out Zay eventually for that #1 job. A guy like Campbell would be a nice #3 with potential to grow. Either way I don't think RD1 has to be WR. RD2 though definitely.

He's awesome.

I liken him to Anquan Boldin.

Not a big fan of trading down here...the Bills could use elite talent on D as well, but I understand the urgency on offense.  Perhaps free agency would be the place to get some o-line or wr help if its just not there in round 1.  I know we need oranges, but if the apples are in season, pick apples, not substandard oranges. Unless someone gives you a crazy good offer for your pick.

If we stay put give me one of the DTs, either of the top 3 will do. Ed Oliver RD1 followed by Anthony Johnson RD2. The key is we need to sign 3 FA OL otherwise BPA is impossible.

I am with the trade down crowd. Pick up extra picks and land around #13-18. At that spot I would take Parris Campbell from Ohio St. He reminds me of OBJ in a couple of ways. Body type and he has the ability to take any catch he makes to the house. He has ELITE speed to go with that shiftiness you look for in guys who can work the middle of the field.

Everywhere I've looked he's a 4th round prospect. Could rise though.

Draft Harry! If he’s slotted down a few picks then by all means trade down a few picks. But don’t pass up the chance to get a truly dominant WR! The Bills already have Foster to stretch the field on the other side and want Zay to be that slot guy. They need a big body kid with heart and hands. Harry appears to be that guy. Don’t get cute and mess this up!

I've said it a few times, but my guy is Chris Conley. Tyrell Williams would be a great get, but I like Conley a bit better. I think he is ready to break out. 4.35 forty time on a big strong frame. I think he has #1 upside and I think Conley, Foster, Zay, and McKenzie make for a nice speedy group with some variety in skills. He developed under David Culley and is a process guy 100%. He's made big plays when called upon but really lie a 5th option. I think he is the perfect addition to this squad. Is he a true #1? No, but he has true #1 upside.

No more primadonna "I need touches" type receivers. That is a humble group of hard workers.
