Who the heck is Joe Davis? Are we now down to amateur announcers lol

Joe Davis | Fox Sports PressPass

One of the fastest rising stars on the sports broadcast landscape, Joe Davis joined FOX Sports in 2014 as a play-by-play announcer for the network’s college football, college basketball and Major League Baseball coverage.

A former collegiate quarterback with a remarkable resume of on-air experience, Davis again teams with analyst Brady Quinn, a strong combination since 2015, and sideline reporter Bruce Feldman for college football on FOX and FS1. Davis also continues to call MLB and college basketball games across FOX Sports channels and is the television voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

That makes him sound pretty decent but is he actually any good? I still like and miss all the iconic voices (Enberg, Albert, Nantz, etc...)

Looks like Fox changed Syracuse and most of CNY to Cowboys/Colts.

I guess they figure that to have more of a draw than two bottom teams but that really sucks for us Syracuse area Bills fans.

holy moly.  you’re right. this may be one of the least-viewed games of the year.

Well we can listen to Brady Quinn talk up Allen like the next Brady

1 - Former NFL QB: Allen has brought hope to Buffalo
The best quarterbacks are those who are capable of physically taking over games, who can give their teams a chance to win regardless of the odds or circumstances.

Throughout the past three weeks, rookie Josh Allen has given his team a chance to win in each of his starts since returning from injury.

Though there are still rookie mistakes in his game, Allen has taken a significant step forward in his development in the second half of his debut campaign. He surpassed the 200-passing yard plateau twice in the past three weeks, a mark he hit just once in his first five starts. He’s also more than doubled his season rushing total over the past three contests.

Those who watch Allen can see that he has the tools necessary to develop into a franchise quarterback. Former NFL passer and current CBS analyst Brady Quinn feels as though the Bills have found their guy in Allen.

“I just feel like Josh Allen, he oozes so much potential and so much ability,” Quinn said on the Pick Six Podcast. “He’s 3-5 as a starter on the Bills. We’re talking about the Bills . . . He has given that team, that city, hope. He is so good and he has so much upside.”

Quinn will have the opportunity to watch Allen first-hand this weekend when he calls Buffalo’s Week 15 matchup with the Lions for FOX. The former first-round draft pick hopes that this will be the first of many Allen games that he gets to call.

The fox on FOX is Megan Olivi.

Meh, her nose is a little too sharp and those eye brows could use some threading.

Now Brady Quinn on the other hand is exactly my type. Power suit, great hair, perfect placement on the peepers. He can keep a view engaged if you'd like.
