Kelvin Benjamin Signs a 1-Year Deal with Kansas City; Has a Chance to Impress with Watkins Likely Out Until the Playoffs

I was honestly wondering if there were some mental/emotional problems - his apathy and lack of effort out on the field for the whole world to see was so over the top (under the bottom?) - it just wasn't normal behavior.  So strange.

I’m not trying to be old and tired with this message, but it’s just not right to judge as we really don’t know. Again, I’ve been all over the guy in frustration, but I back off now as something just wasn’t right.

Buyers remorse is a real thing. Subtraction by addition for KC. Every play he's out there, someone else isn't. I'd rather play the someone else.

He just isn’t very good. When he struggles In that offense the league will get a clue. Benjamin seem to not want to play hard. Reed won’t put up with that.

Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin is set to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs, Ian Rapoport reports. Benjamin was released by the Bills on Tuesday.

Kelvin Benjamin's foray into free agency has been brief.

The former Buffalo Bills wide receiver is set to sign a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Benjamin was waived by the Bills on Tuesday and went unclaimed on waivers Wednesday and visited with the Chiefs. By signing with Kansas City, Benjamin more or less ensures he'll be playing for a team bound for the postseason before becoming a free agent again this offseason.

ESPN first reported the development.

Andy Reid can’t be happy about this competition in the cafeteria

otoh, they can share team gear. Those giant red tents Reid wears on the sidelines will be perfect for the holidays, KB.

NFL website article on this has a video clip of him making a one handed catch for the Bills. What a joke.... False advertisement.

I think KB may have thought he was signing with this team:

So it makes sense.

***** him

There's always a bigger fool.. Panthers fans felt the same way about him.. I was never on board. I hate to be that guy.. but I gotta admit I'll be ticked off if he turns it up this year and gets a crapload of redzone Targets. I know it's a petty feeling and I'm not actively rooting against him.. but I just know I'll be hella annoyed if he turns into rookie Kelvin and nabs 4 TDs in the TD factory.

Mostly because it seems very likely :(
