Gugny
Should Clay have caught the ball? Or was it just a bad pass? Edited December 2, 2018 by Gugny
Southern Bills Fan
Wasn’t a great pass but it got there. For 7 mil a year, you expect a guy to catch it. 19
frostbitmic
Anybody not named Kelvin Benjamin should've caught that ball.

Romie
Really I think it was both. Not the best pass, but there's dudes out there that would have pulled it off.
GunnerBill
Not a great throw but in that situation at the end of the game the job of the QB is give your guys a chance and he gave Clay a chance. Should have been caught.
34-78-83
Both. But the bad pass has more valid reasons for it.

LikeIGiveADarn
It's not reasonable to expect Allen to make a perfect pass there, but he got the ball into the hands of the receiver, who dropped it. 6

Success
With the time he has, that was a good throw. I’m watching Brady camp in the pocket every time he drops back - what a difference.
Capco
Can you edit the poll to include both? That would be my vote.
Tsaikotic
should have had a 3rd option for a "little of both"
oldmanfan
Allen might have had a fraction of a second to set and get more into it, but when you have a veteran TE who gets hit in the hands and can't hold the ball, nor figure out he needs to work back a little towards his QB, is there a reason to have that veteran TE?
Mojo44
You have to keep in mind the specific circumstances of that play. Josh was running for his life. When he made the throw he was off-balance. He had to get it off as fast as possible. He had no time to set his feet. Essentially, it got there. All Clay had to do was take a couple steps towards the pass and catch it. Josh made a great play in my opinion. Shame 6
Green Lightning
It's a catch a top notch TE should have made.

Guy is scrambling, throwing across his body to wide open receiver who can't figure out too late (before falling on his face) that all he had to do was move a few steps to the ball and walk back into the EZ.
