Is our offensive roster good now?

A lot of people on here have been harping on the offensive talent we don’t have and how we can’t win.  However, as our offensive line appears to be improving, Zay looking to be a #2, and if these young kids at WR keep it together, does our list of offensive needs shrink?

Besides a true #1 WR, what is our glaring needs?  And if that’s the case, what’s been the problem with the offense?  Is it QB play?  Did Daboll finally figure it out?

I’m not being sarcastic or attacking any one thing, but it’s interesting how much things look to have changed in a week.

For me, I’m looking for RB, TE, O-Line upgrades if they are BPA, but nothing that’s holding us back.  But I also am aware that it’s only been one week.

Absolutely not.

But if Teller becomes a decent starter, that's one more position that we don't have to address next year.

Still need a Center and RG. Still need WR talent. Still need a TE that can play without getting hurt every other snap (preferably a bigger, stronger one).

WR, Center, RT, replacement for McCoy, TE.  Plenty of places to upgrade.  Interested to see who they bring in to fill the two open roster spots at present.

Hasn’t Bodine been much better lately?  I also don’t notice Mills much, which is a compliment to an offensive lineman.  He’s gotten better every year

I know certain people would role over in their grave, and there doesn’t seem to be a guy in this years draft, but RB has to start becoming a position we look at in early rounds after next year

The talent is not top 25 on offense in the NFL.  I will say they have have some complementary pieces now.  Mitchell could fit a Tarik Cohen type role.  Match up nightmare and stretch the defense horizontally.  Foster flashed the ability to stretch the defense deep.  Zay looks like the best underneath Wr.  Benjamin drops big plays every week.  He plays football like he is 6-1.  For his size he is not winning 1 on 1 jump balls.  The offense should be able to move the ball and pick up first downs.  They have no margin for error.  If they catch balls they are ok.  A few drops will kill drives.

Bodine is better but we need somebody who will be dominant.  Probably just as well we don't see a RB for RD 1 or 2 for next year so as to concentrate on other positions.  Hopefully, McCoy has another year in him so some RB can slowly work in next year.

That's how I'd prioritize it.

With how our defense is playing and where everyone is at least holding up, I think our first pick has to be one of the top WR’s this year.  Good news is, we shouldn’t have to trade up.

If foster can do what he did last week, I’m good him in our top 3. We was a steal pick and solid in college.  If the light turned on for him, that’s a big win

I'd switch RB and TE, but other than that I completely agree.

We can get by with Mills at RT if the other positions are addressed. We've done it for years now...

You nailed my list, MJS.

Perhaps Bodine has been better, but I still don't think it is good enough. He is one of those below average starters that will always start in this league, but the team has it on their list of to do's to have him replaced when they can find an upgrade.

Similar to Mills.

The un-settled QB situation, plus the league's toughest schedule over the first half season

We now have the league's easiest schedule the rest of the way, so it should be interesting to see how we perform...

The Bills beat one of the only teams that are worse than the Bills.

They still need

C

G

T

WR 1

WR 3

TE

QB* Jury still out

No particular order....

OT (Mills is trash), WR, TE (obvious), OC (Bodine has improved, but we could do much better), DT (Kyle Williams replacement), SOLB (LorAx replacement), CB (don’t need one early in draft, IMO), OG (to replace Miller..would like to address this in FA).

I dont think we will get all of this in one offseasn

Jordan Mills is a RT starter in this parity league....he is far from our worst problem...if OC and RG were greatly improved this OL would actually be decent.

Harrison Phillips is Meatball's replacement....would not shock me to see Jordan Phillips back either he looks like a keeper

We REALLY need to address TE this offseason....I think Clay is toast

I think Lorax stays...he is still playing well

In short...I think the D is most set and is playing lights out......we need to hard core press on the offensive side of the ball this offseason......
