Which two ...... are we talking this season?

prospects as in Vets?

Cousins and Smith?     Cousins looked bad against Buffalo and I haven's seen any other games and living in the DMV (DC area) the locals are not enthralled with Alex.

No I meant last year, as the discussion was San Diego. When we passed on Watson and mahomes to pair with Tyrod. This has definitely been a two year problem.

Dude, have you even seen Taxi Driver? How about Risky Business?  Leaving Las Vegas?  And don't even think about giving me some "what about Pretty Woman?" *****.  IT DOESN'T WORK, MALONE!!

I've seen this movie before and it ends with you bitching about the 5 day waiting period and rambling about how to get Jodie Foster's attention.  Shes 55 years old and a lesbian.  Get a hold of yourself, man.

One could argue that Nick Cage's main problem wasn't that he fell in love with a hooker.

Liz Shue actually provided some pep in his step.

I'm assuming he means Mahomes & Watson. Cousins has been decent this year, just turnover prone. Alex Smith is proving to be exactly what I thought he was

I dont think anyone really disliked the pick, I never remember seeing that here. If anything I would say most liked the pick as being a potential backup QB but may have been anger towards the front office for not making a QB pick earlier in the draft for a potential starter.

Then McDermott put him in while they still had a chance at the playoffs which also can be seen as understandable cause the offence needed a shakeup. Unfortunately he had one of the worst starts in league history and was mercy pulled by half time. Most players drafted where he was without a great college background dont usually pan out, and it became even more of a joke when he kept getting forced back into games by the coach.

Let me say that from experience I had quite a few discussions WRT Nate.

I wanted to give him a chance when they signed him and a few argued he didn't belong on the team.

One guy even called me Mrs Peterman and now he won't post in any thread I start.

That was one thought.

yeah.  water under the bridge.

Watson started out on fire. he's cooled off after his injury. Season 3 will be interesting to follow.

Mahomes also started out on fire.  Season 2 as a starter will be interesting to follow as well.

Did we feel sorry when we booted EJ and Tyrod and they landed on their feet? Football players get released all the time. Did we feel sorry for TJ Graham? Mike Williams? Aaron Maybin? Just let these guys live their lives. NFL is entertainment and he wasn't entertaining us. It's show biz people get fired and hired all the time. That's what he signed up for.

Yes, Peterman will land on his feet, too - probably in New England is my guess.

New England is the perfect landing spot for Nate.  He needs a coach with the patience to nurture him through all his many inexcusable turnovers and Belichek is that guy to a T.

Why does Peterman deserve to Garner more sympathy than EJ? Don't get it.

Neither was a bad guy and neither was a good NFL quarterback.

I feel more sorry for Peterman than I did for EJ because EJ made WAY more money as bad as EJ was; I doubt if he is in the record books as one of the worst ever.

Good luck to both of them.

Good luck to both of them in life. Otherwise.. it's just football. Moving on.

They've shut down most of the online "escort" ads nationwide and Boston has pretty strict laws. I think he may be OK. But you never know.

My issue was the amount of opportunities that he got. Guys with his pedigree (and performance) don’t get the chances that he got. I don’t hate the guy but I hate the player. There are literally hundreds of QBs like him that get one chance (or none) and wash out. This guy just kept getting chances and kept failing. It wasn’t good for him or for us. This move is in everyone’s best interest.

Marrone had WAYYY too much love for Jeff Tuel too........it was really hard to understand..........that team was very competitive with utter garbage at QB much of the season and probably(LIKELY) would have broke the drought that year if they hadn't dumped Fitz.

I think sometimes the ego grows too large when they ascend to this long sought after NFL HC level and they are more prone to some initial awful decisions.

Marrone of course got his humble pie served in that first year with the Bills.........McD clearly didn't get his until recently during his 2-7 start.

Thats right. Matt Barkley didn’t get the chances he got at this stage... it’s unfathomable they kept going back for more

He's human - one that got fired, performed terribly, and is victim to all sorts of ridicule (regardless of it being deserved)

he is a has earned over a Million. sorry I don't feel bad for the guy. NFL, Not For Long, every player knows this fact and what they sign up for and I am supposed to feel bad for him? for these garbage performances? Just because he is a good guy isn't going to make me feel bad for him.  How many people after working 2 years can go out, go back to college and get there masters degree in something and walk out debt free. I love the NFL, Love the sport.. but I am not going to feel bad for an over paid kid getting fired and has his whole life ahead of him.

Feel bad for people going through cancer or other life threatening disabilities. not this. Do you really think he wants anyone to feel bad for him? please...

I used to cringe every time they put Tuel in there. Was he as bad as Peterman?

I know he doesn't have the same interception stats (nobody does) but I remember thinking that Teul had almost no chance of completing a pass.
