If so, then he makes the other three look like practice squad players.

Exactly. Barkley just did what you want a back up to do. Perform well enough to win. Lets not pretend that a few of his passes were dropped ints or that he floated a few well over the heads of his wr's over the middle of the field

We have a quarterback folks. Sure the Jets are the worst team in the NFL right now but Barkley throws the ball down the field and is light years ahead of Allen.

Barkley

Allen

Thomas (Emergency)

No need for Anderson or Peterman.

Doesn't take much to impress you, does it?  'We have a quarterback'?  He played well, he's had a crappy career. He played against a team that gave up. Let's not get carried away here.

Barkley probably should start next game.  But, duh, Barkley does have years of experience Allen doesn't have.  Look it up Kev.

This season is lost and the only positive to come from it is the development of Josh Allen, who is supposed to our savior at QB for years to come.

Barkley doesn't fit into the equation at all.

I hope Allen starts next game.

Barkley could be the backup...they need one now that Peterman will be getting his pink slip tomorrow
