Jets defensive gameplan for bills...

Can you imagine the gameplan of Allen vs peterman.  Ha

Peterman starting.   All defensive players are watching real housewives and practicing catching his wounded duck interceptions.  10 guys in box and just wait for mistakes.

Allen starting.  Determining if they need a spy and worried about being beat deep as Allen will test them.

Ha

The Jets aren't exactly worldbeaters themselves in any form or fashion--Bowles is doubtless on his way out the door and their offense is in shambles as well. Darnold just finished tossing 4 picks (more than NP, imagine that!) and McCown is 4 years older than DA! I think it's a good chance that this is going to be a "get well" sort of game for the Bills regardless of who's starting, regardless of the Jets taking either of the approaches the OP imagines.

I'm at the point where I hope they let whoever is playing qb, just throw every single down. Do a heavy rotation of wide recievers and let's see what we got. Regardless of who starts at qb, it'd be good experience. Take shots down field, run every pass play you got. What is there to lose at this point

Same as it will be all year. Run blitz. Make the QB beat you with his arm. The caveat is Allen has the ability to run so it changes the game plan for a defense, if he's running for 40-50 yrds per game the Bills will have a productive offense.

Just in general its buying time outside the pocket.  They'll design ways to get him out of the pocket too.  With peterman its like... expect him to throw fairly quick to his first read.

The people on the roster that have any ability in order are the following:

Allen

Anderson

Pryor

Logan Thomas

Haushka

thats it.

Take a knee three times and punt using the 'Waterboy' strategy!

yeah..... resorting to this against a sad Bills team makes it even funnier

Jets have no trouble running the ball eternally with no aim to gain much off their O

Curtis Martin made an entire HOF career out of this

Except Allen hasn’t gone deep and tested anyone all year. It has happened like 3 times. Teams were daring him to throw it deep and never did.

Its not not his fault. It’s husband terrible receivers and terrible coaching.

it doesn't matter which of our QBs is in on Sunday.  All any team has to do in order to beat us is stop our run and force us to throw.  That's it.

and not fumble it away on their own 5 yard line in the first quarter
