John Wawrow on the QB situation

If they wanted a bridge QB all along they should've got one. Anderson wasn't the only guy, and that's that Carolina connection biting them in the ass again.

Matt Moore, Brock Osweilier, Drew Stanton, Chad Henne, Chase Daniel were all available, all changed teams. Matt Moore, Chad Henne and Brock even offered up a bunch of in game experience.

The problem here is that they have a wide receiver coach playing QB coach and they wanted a QB they could rely on to teach Allen. That's not how a real NFL team does it. Daboll finally found his way down to the sideline to actually be involved with the QBs and that's a start.

You wanted Brock Osweilier on this team?

YOU TAKE THAT BACK!

Better than anyone else behind Allen. My point was the backup isn't here to coach, he's here to keep the team afloat while they work with Allen.

John Murphy & Tasker say that AJ didn't want to be here & that he didn't do very good in the preseason which okay he wasn't burning up the sky with his passing game but the dude had some 5 million reasons to stay where ever McD wanted him to stay ? !!

If McD had stayed the corse that it looked like he was going to do at the beginning of the season by sign McCarron he would have put AJ at the #2 QB after choosing to start Nate then when Petermen puked they would have had AJ (who knew the offense) to fall back on at least .

But because of premature evacuation by Mcbean & company of AJ they were scrambling & had to completely scrap "the process" with letting Allen learn a bit from the side line which would have been a more acceptable plan i believe in the fans eyes than what they have done !

It was a total rookie HC ing mistake even if AJ wasn't very good you just don't keep 2 "rookie" QB's with the lack of experience that they had to go into a season BAD MOVE !!

I think AJ would have shown better than Nate & if given the chance his leadership would have shined through at times & gave Allen a bit more time to see the game before being thrown in behind a subpar O line .

Sure maybe he wouldn't have pulled off what the Mullen kid did in San Fran but he knew the offensive scheme & would have been a better alternative to what they have had to try & pull off not to mention what if Allen's injury would have been much worse or a ACL or rotator cuff tear boy wouldn't that have been a kick in McD's Ass !!

Bills were interested in Fitz. He was firm on staying in Tampa

Like I said in an earlier post.. and John confirmed it here (at least as far as Fitz is concerned), he seemed to have no interest in returning to Buffalo. Unfortunately and unfairly for us, many players don’t want to sign here for various reasons. That is why it is crucial for Buffalo to build through the draft. Just because a player signs for 3 or 4 million with a different team does not mean the Bills could have easily had him cheap. It’s just not as simple as some on here like to think it is, particularly for a small market team like the Bills. I feel as though this regime did not have much choice outside of drafting Allen last spring and Peterman in 2017. Hell, even McCarron wasn’t too keen on being here, according to T Master (per Murphy and Tasker).
