Anderson was never that good to begin with and with him being rustier than a 100 year old nail in settled in the bottom of the ocean you couldn't realistically expect too much out of him. Another stat would be interceptions Allen despite playing in 5/8(half in Baltimore and half in Houston) has only 1 more interception than Peterman at maybe 1 game and Anderson at 2. That's an impractical way to find and develop a QB with the way the CBA restricts offseason time at the team facility and even practice reps during the season. The better plan is to invest in the supporting cast to make the players around him as good as possible just as PHI, KC, LAR, and CHI have done with their young QBs. I agree, build up the O-Line and get some weapons and then after the 2019 season you can review Allens play. I have always said it takes 3 years for a QB and a WR to get comfortable with each other where when the QB sees a mismatch he can just look at the WR and they are on the same page. He only did that in that in one game against Tennessee unless your counting Houston and Baltimore where he missed about half of each game..
