Why shouldn't the other party, who actually has the equity stake in the job, not be permitted the same leverage as the first party to the contract?

Simple - because you eventually end up with end game capitalism - the US today as an obvious example.  In other words, it doesn't work is why.  Giving the company the rights of a person is fantastic for companies and so for the markets.  The markets doing well is fantastic for the wealthy.

The companies are part of the society and need to be kept from destroying it when it might become monetarily beneficial for it to do so.  Again, see the US - the markets are high and the rich are.filthy.  about 50% of the US does not have $2k in savings much less.inbesting in the stock market. Assuming we care about the future of the USA then who's health should we concern ourselves with - the people working the jobs and payimg taxes or the billionaires who own the companies and pay less and leas taxes every decade?  I say the people or bust.  The alternative is the bad place.

Don't care what the state is. Strictly from an ethical standpoint.

Depends on what the homeowner knew. Was it dark ? Did the Police identify themselves? Could a reasonable person have feared for their life ? So many factors in that hypothetical. From an ethical standpoint, the Police have to be given an advantage. It is possible there could be circumstances in your scenario where it may be justified though.

Do You say this as though it's a good thing?  If true then your state is a disgrace.  Vote wisely next week would be my advice.

Of course it's a good thing.  WTF do you think happens to organizations where crappy employees can't be fired?

Let me guess....you can't figure out why governments are wasteful and unproductive.

Eric Reid gave a more in depth interview about his whole break from the Players Coalition...in it he mentioned Terry Pegula by name and claims he said the kneeling situation was out of hand and it was costing him sponsors and they needed to make it go away and to throw some money at it if thats what it took.

Interesting how behind the scenes politics really work...we all know the owners are all about their money but its interesting when things come out that show it...

This isnt really interesting since every company does this... throw money at problems to try and make them go away.

Eric Reid lied. Michael Bennett lied.

wake up.

Cant argue with this. This has nothing to do with race. Either they lied or they didn’t.  Some people have to make everything about race. Sad.

So eh... your job isn't an NFL athlete. I understand the company you work for may have rules against it. The NFL, they don't. So you're comparing apples to oranges.

I feel like the people who make this point are people who just disagree with some players and want an easy way to silence them

You are wrong, even anything the NFL has more rules for players than a "typical" employee.

And that doesn't even bring up conduct written into specific contracts on a one on one basis/

Micheal Bennett clearly lied and has never been held accountable.  The Vegas Police should have sued him tio death.  And the "brave" Pete Carroll also through the Vegas police under the bus, he was never held accountable either,

Hypothetically, and this hasn't happened yet to my knowledge. But if the police do a no knock raid on the wrong house, if the homeowner heard people breaking in, grabbed his gun, and shot an officer, would that be justifiable?

In most states, If the Cop did not properly identify themselves as police yes that would be justifiable.

You have some radical states where effectively you arent allowed to defend yourself discharging a firearm, even in your own home.
