how about no? let's get a QB that can at least manage the offense, so the defense isn't ran into the ground, causing more (crucial) injuries.

it's ridiculous how FO has manages this offense.

Do you have a qb in mind that could be available?

Unless Allen can come back (which seems unlikely) Peterman is our QB......hey he drove us on our last TD drive over 2 games ago.

Do you really think they are going to pick someone up this week to start Sunday?  It is already Tuesday.

Enough with the TAYLOR crap.  Keep him far in the rear view mirror.  Do you think any of the QB's you mention are going to save this season? LOL!  Lose out and get the best pick in the draft.  This team has zero talent on offense, and a really lousy coordinator.

No.  Who ever they pick up would need a couple of weeks to get ready.  But depending on the severity of Anderson's injury, we may need a healthy backup.

Tyrod no! Bradford sucks too, but only if he's cheap. No worse than DA. Just start Peterman and be done with this season!

Oh Anderson is not able to play, we will need a healthy backup.

I'm all in on Tebow.  He did it with Denver!!!!

He hasn't taken a meaningful snap in at least six years.

With the QBs available and the talent on our offense, we are going to be bad regardless of who you stick in at QB.  Might as well just stick with the dunce that you already have on the team (Peterman) rather than spending money or draft picks for some other schlub to come in and fail

edit:  also, regarding peterman, why is he always decked out like he is going to be put in the game at any moment?  dude always has his helmet on.. on the sideline

What Tyrod Taylor did with this offensive roster in 2017 was nothing short of miraculous.

He's not a franchise QB, but the anti Tyrod sentiment is really strange at this point.

For the record, we're not bringing him back so it's a moot point.

if mcbeane play peterman they have a very real chance of being fired for embarrassing the franchise.

Hasn't the Bills offense already embarrassed the franchise? Peterman, Allen, Anderson...they can't score, they can't effectively move the ball period. McBean offensively have been a huge embarrassment.

I'm not anti tyrod, I just don't think there's any chance. Been there, done that. They are not looking to win a ton of games this year imo. At this point, it's roster evaluation and tyrod could win us a game too many.

Get Bradford, put Foster in, and have Bradford throw it to him every other play.  Eventually Foster will catch one, and score a TD.   This will be more exciting than anything we have seen all year.

I also think Bradford could hit Zay a few times as well.

He looked bad in Zona, but that whole offense has been anemic.

If Derek Anderson can't play for an extended time, who do you think the Bills should pick up.  The popular choices seem to be Sam Bradford or Tyrod.

Bradford has not looked very good this season and is injury prone.

Tyrod will add some versatility to our offense and he will limit turnovers.  This option may compliment our strong defense.  Yes, Tyrod will still throw for 190 yards on a good day, but the reduced turnovers will help this team immensely.  Turn overs have cost us a couple move victories.

What other viable options are available?

Anyone who thinks the Bills are willing to trade a significant draft asset for a player under contract for one year is mistaken.  They know they are taking this year and won’t make a big trade to win a few more games.

Also so there is no way in hell they would bring Tyrod back

It's funny to me that people are so against Peterman. The team isn't winning games no matter who is out there. The team is trotting out the worst starting QB in the league no matter who starts. It's not like Peterman is the difference between winning and losing. He's the difference between losing by 15 and losing by 21.

Shrug.

Peterman has been historically bad, no doubting that, but he has moved the ball pretty good at times, just throws picks and chokes under pressure. If we are out of the playoffs I see no point in trading an asset for a rental just because you don't want to see Peterman anymore. Just so we can win one or two more games maybe, why? Just start him, who knows maybe he will start to learn how to compensate for his arm and make better decisions as he gets more experience.

Peterman throws an INT for every 9 passes attempted.  Maybe he doesn't belong on an NFL roster and should focus on being a child of a fickle and indifferent God?

If Peterman starts more games McD risks losing the locker room.

Losing the locker room? Peterman is the only Bill's QB to throw a touchdown in last 23 quarters. Nearly SIX games. How can it get worse.
