They could have made some simple cost effective moves that would have helped them on offense. They could have opened their eyes witj Nate P. and avoided that disaster. Made the playoffs last year with a below average offense and instead of building on that, made it worse. You can't expect this offense to be fixed in one off-season. You can't neglect one side of the ball. In 2 years most likely Williams, Alexander and Hughes will be gone. Will this FO sign Tre White to a big long term contract.... The best part is the game is over and they are still throwing, Anderson injured and in comes Peterman on third and 33 with the game over and instead of kneeling or handing off, throws two underneath patterns on third and fourth downs well short of the first as some kind of joke or show Peterman can complete passes? I think the bigger problem is that the point differential is 87 points for to 200 points against! That's a huge disparity in a league that is currently setting records for scoring. This offense can't score a TD! However, like someone else stated that the FO managed to pull off a Rex Ryan type thing of killing the very best run game in the league. This offensive coaching staff killed that great Bills run game that even last year was #4 in attempts, #6 in rushing yards. This year the 2018 Buffalo Bills are #15 in rush attempts, #23 in rushing yards, #15th in rushing attempts, #26 in rushing TDs, #29 in yards per attempt! In 2016 the Bills were #2 in rushing attempts. #1 in rushing yards, #1 in rushing TDs, #1 rushing in yards per attempt. In 2015 the Bills were #2 in rushing attempts, #1 rushing yards, #1 in rushing TDs, #1 in rushing yards per attempt. If we had an average starting NFL QB we could be 5-3 right now and in the playoff race. We have an elite defense and elite special teams. Our QBs have been our Achilles Heel.
