Emmanuel Sanders is a very good player. Would lovely to get him somehow. No idea what he would cost.

RGIII plays QB and shouldn't be terribly expensive. Would also be nice to make a run at Foles but Eagles probably still want a lot for him.

Cedric Ogbuehi plays tackle, I would like a tackle. Shouldn't be insane expensive.

Patrick Peterson at CB also quite dreamy.

On our end, count me among those that say we should move Shady and Kelvin. Kelvin is worth whatever we can get, and Shady is a good player but the timing just isn't there w/ his age and our need to rebuild. I would also try to move Shaq as part of a package if possible.

Would be lovely if we could somehow move Shady and 2nd for Foles or maybe Shady for RGIII straight up. I would take a 5 for Kelvin (assuming we could remotely get that) and give a very high pick for Peterson.

Lots of nonsense. I'm sure nothing good will come of this but we have made moves (even if just a fire sale). This is the one area where you do miss Doug Whaley b/c he was good at scraping the bottom of the barrel for guys at the trade deadline.

I hate to disappoint but there’s like a 95% chance they have zero interest in trading for talent.

This year is the youth movement. Let the kids and aging vets play it out and see who wins a job for next year.

I could see Benjamin being traded since his deal expires and we all know they don’t want him back.

Unless shady is asking to be traded he ain’t going nowhere.

Neither is Hughes or clay.

This is just my opinion but other than KB all those guys are building blocks for next year. Their contracts don’t hurt the team next year and it’s easy to unload them during or after next year.

This is a lost season, think of it as extended preseason. Do Zay, mcloud, croom or Murphy improve? Are they worth keeping next year?

Miller and Dawkins, groy or bodine?

They are coaching these newer or younger guys up and seeing what they have for the future with them. When the seasons over they will know exactly what they are targeting in free agency and the draft.

They aren’t building this team with draft pick trades.

I know I know last year they traded non stop.

But that was tearing down not building. Once the playoffs looked like a reality they got KB.

They are wanting to build a core of rookie contracts who will be here a long time.

Most of the players mentioned by the OP are just temporary stop gap guys not building blocks.

Why would they be looking to ACQUIRE players before the deadline?

They should give up draft picks to improve their record so they get worse draft picks?

Maybe McD thinks with the weather about to turn nasty their 70’s ground and pound style is going to see them go on a playoff run?

I’d generally say we will be sellers if anything. But if there’s a chance for us to pick up a player that either has one more year in their contract (like Benjamin last year) or a player that is just so incredibly good that we can get for cheap, or that we plan on signing to big money in the offseason (like Peterson) and eliminate another need we have in the draft or free agency in the spring.

If this his coaching staff is going to get their 3rd year no matter what happens, I want them to stock up on as much talent as they can possibly get. Make a legitimate run at becoming good by signing multiple FA studs, drafting the OL early, drafting WR early. Etc

Shady for RG3 straight up? How strong are you making the drinks tonight dayman?

Also a 5 for KB when we sent a 3 out for him last year would not be cool with me, especially since the Raiders just got a 1st for Amari today.

I wouldn't give up our picks for these players. It's time to draft and develop our own like all the big boy clubs do imo.

Just because the Bills overpaid for a crappy WR doesn't mean that other teams' coaches and FOs are so stupid as to chase after Carolina rejects.

"All the big boy clubs" have competent talent evaluation, which is why they're "big boy clubs".  The Bills haven't had that since John Butler and AJ Smith departed for the West Coast back in 2000, and McDermott and Beane are almost as bad talent evaluators, especially on offense, as Dick Jauron.

Too early IMO.  I will give them this draft and the off season...then I'll see.

Who is going to trade anything of value for a running back in his 30's whose production is decreasing, is currently injured and who has off the field issues that could result in a major suspension? Who would trade for a WR who drops as many balls as he catches, has no speed and whose most noteworthy achievement in the last two years was to publicly criticize his QB? Oh and lets add in that he will be available for nothing next year as his contract is up and we sure as hell aren't keeping him. He is not worth even a 7th round pick.

Escapism I get but I need my fantasies to have at least a shred of plausibility.

Red Dead Redemption II ships this Friday, thank god. I'll be shooting coyotes, playing poker in saloons and riding the range by this time next week.

why would anyone want Foles. Not sure what the infatuation is with him. He was terrible when he started this year which is the norm throughout his career. He went on a lucky run last year and is no more than a backup. Even if they trade for him then theyd need to resign him. Why would you trade a lot to get a backup and then resign him for big bucks to be your backup. MAkes no sense to me. You just traded up in the first to get Allen hes your starter until you deem him not good and want to go a different way. Gettign FOles makes no sense at all

According to many here the world has already ended in terms of building the Bills into anything.  There is not going to be a next year.  The team will cease to exist as though it were sucked into a blackhole.  The ridicule by the sports media will be enough to blow the team off the Earth to start its journey towards said blackhole.  Hobo's off the street will not even consider playing for a bottle of wine.  All is lost.  I know that this is true because the experts here said so!

I'd ship KB and a 4th to Cincy for Tyler Boyd and a 6th.

I'd offer a 6th to Denver for DT that could turn into a 5th based on performance.

I'd offer Shady to Minnesota for Mike Remmers and potentially supplement with a late round pick, if necessary.

I'd offer Shaq to Detroit for Ameer Abdullah.
