Is there any other team with a HOME primetime game and zero chance of even keeping it close?

It’s a cruel freaking joke!

You can just hear the laughter in the room as they discussed the Bills schedule at NFL schedule central.

” The Bills made the playoffs, shouldn’t we give them a Monday night game?”

Snickering and a chuckle here and there.

” How about a home game.?”

silence

” Against who?” Someone finally asks.

” The Pats”

Room explodes in uncontrollable belly laughing?

Spare me a measured reply about it being nothing like that

It's pathetic really...

To hear McDermott say it's Buffalo so you need to be blue collar and tough and run the ball and that Buffalo weather....

Meanwhile at half time we retire the number if a Hall of Fame all purpose RB from an offense that moved the ball at will and scored at will

But it's Buffalo, says a guy who has lived here for 18 months so we need to play string defense and win games 13-10

You know it's bad when a team formally complains to the league for unfair scheduling (as we did a few years back)

I do think we get the ***** end of the stick often, but it's also hard to believe there's some grand conspiracy to screw over one of the already most futile franchises in history.

Probably more likely they are trying to prop up the league fav Pats by giving them a mulligan on national TV. We are just the victim, in the wrong place at the wrong time because nobody cared enough to stump for our interests.

McDermott coaches like it's 1985.

He wants to run the ball, play defense, and punt on the opponents 40 yard line when it's 4th and short.

He's a good defensive coach, but his overall team philosophy and decision making is severely lacking.

I don't even care that they will get killed in this game, the part that stinks is that the atmosphere is going to be awful. Thinking back to that last Monday night game when Dallas was in town, it was the loudest I have ever heard inside that stadium (and that included the Super Bowl runs). By halftime, the stadium is going to be half empty and the hapless existence of the Buffalo Bills will whimper back to irrelevance until they get another Monday nighter 10 years from now.

Derek Anderson is our starting QB, what else could scream irrelevance more than that.....

LOL. the Patriots are the only team of national interest that the Bills play and at home the league probably figured it was our only competitive game. The only other two games were away against the Vikings and Packers. Hindsight the Vikings game would have been our best prime time option. Who knew JA and the defense would play lights out. To avoid embarrassment the defense needs to step up and the offense needs to run the clock. The 12th man has to step up as we always do. Doesn't matter what the stats look like going into the game. The Bills have a chance to win until they don't.

I can pretty much guarantee there won't be a 12th man Monday night. 5th or 6th man....maybe

I get it. It just sucks. First MNF game for the Bills in a long time. LOL I remember when the national media was ticked when we went to SB XXVI, SB XXVII AND XXVIII. we were a national embarrassment then too.

That should set in around the 12:00 mark of the first quarter when we are already down 14-0.  Some people will have hope when its 7-0 after Brady's 1:55 second opening drive TD, but a few minutes later all hope will be snuffed out with a pick 6.

We will see. Glad the games are decided on the field.

Go back and check out the posts going into the Minnesota game—a total write-off, why are we even bothering, Bills are a pathetic joke, and oh yeah, that Vontae dude decides he’s too cool for this hot mess and bounces at the half the week before. Guys I know you don’t want to hear this, but I for one won’t be betting 5K against the Bills in this one. I think we can shock the world this week, with a monster stand by the D and an opportunistic few drives against a soft Patsy D, that came this close to letting a Hail Mary through. Here’s to hoping and why we have to play the game out on the field and not on these boards!

It's embarrassing, but B1LLZ MAF1A!!!!!

We have to be proud of that. Listen guy, coach McD told me, you have to drink a lot of Labatt's to make it through a Bills game in Buffalo.

It's windy, it's cold. You just have to respect the process, you start out at 1 beer an hour from 6 to 9. 9 to 10 you step that up to 3. 10 to 11, depending on the weather, you usually stick to 3, but 4 might be necessary. 11 to 12, that's game time as a fan. This is your moment, you have to get 5 in you so you're so drunk you don't even know you just wasted your time watching my ***** football team.
