"I'll hang up and listen."

 

Schopp absolutely hates it when people say "how are you guys doing" as it's unnecessary, callers don't expect an answer, and it just takes up show/call time.  He's right.

 

Yet almost everyone does it anyway.  And then Bulldog always responds quickly by saying "Thanks what's on your mind?" or something like that to get it going.

Tony Kornheiser used to give them the finger over the radio for that. I’m not sure how he did it, as it seems impossible.

I agree it is. But I find it so odd since so much that show is them just trying to fill time. And relying on other people to do their job for them.
