Actually, there are quite a few posters here who think defense matters and that a perennial contender can be built with mediocre, game managing QB play, and a very strong defense. It's much more effective to be able to go 80 yards for a touchdown in 40 seconds whenever you need to. We have no QB worth mentioning in our system right now, and the brain trust at OBD will probably draft a defensive tackle with their high, first pick, next year.
