It really looks great when Braswell, Edwards, and Richmond are all on the floor at the same time. I also think this team plays much better D with a lead. Weird thing is I almost never feel this about the Bills, but when the Orange gets into the NCAA Tourney and they aren't playing teams familiar with their zone... they win 9 times out of 10 in the opening rounds. Edwards has been a revelation in the middle, and his emergence has allowed Dolezaj to move to his natural position, where he's much more effective. Now he is absolutely the best shooter in college basketball And he's 6 ft 6. Some say 6'7.. Success Posted March 20, 2021 Share Posted March 20, 2021 The zone is often effective when 'Cuse gets in the tourney & plays a team that hasn't seen it. But I've rarely seen it as effective as it was last night. I almost felt bad for San Diego St. - they could not figure it out.
