Not too shabby. Murphy looked better last game, maybe he's finally getting healthy and in playing shape. Hughes is obviously playing at a very high level right now, I believe only Mack has more pressures on the year. They schemed up a few pressures last game by bringing Milano on rushes and dropping Murphy. I also like seeing Alexander rushing from the inside on obvious passing downs. He's can run stunts to catch the interior lineman off guard or he can drop back and play short zone.

"The Bills play the Green Bay Packers in Week Four. Green Bay is currently 22nd in defensive pressure rate at 31.0 percent. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been pressured 33.5 percent of the time (44 times on 131 drop backs) thus far in the 2018 season."

Mack and Hughes are tied for pressures with Hughes having less attempts. Great to see Jerry Playing at a high (disciplined) level.

Hope I don't jinx it.

Wow. Raiders last. Good pass rushers are hard to find ?

I heard something interesting on that today when a radio personality referenced Joe Thomas’ podcast. Thomas figures out that the Raiders literally could not afford Mack’s contract.  There is a CBA rule that requires all unpaid guaranteed money in a contract be put in escrow at the time of signing. Davis is cash poor and doesn’t have that kind of cash.

Have to admit I jumped full tilt on the bandwagon of goodbye Leslie after the LAC debacle and McD's taking over the playcall sheet, but am pleasantly surprised by how our DC responded and put his best foot forward--the players including Hughes obviously also responded by dramatically upping their game with the backs to the wall. I think that a team can smell right away if character/grit from the top down is real or fake (a/k/a The Ryan Bros. Express), and plays accordingly over the course of a long season. Kudos to the coaching staff then.

How does Joe Thomas know how much cash Davis has?

OK so wait a minute....I was told that Murphy was a disaster and we should be blaming Beane for that

Just want to keep it

.....missed most of practice and pre-season due to injury......comes back versus Vikes with a helluva game and now dinged again......durability and long term health are more important than a "disaster" label IMO..............

...therein lies the concern......available regularly is a must IMO.....week 4 is a helluva lot different than questionable in week 15 when the season wears on............

Not exactly sure but don’t forget that Davis is one of the few owners whose main business is his football team. The Raiders have the lowest revenue of any NFL team and Mack got $87M guaranteed.  Plus there’s the publicly available info from Green Bay. Shouldn’t be too tough to figure out.

That's nice to see... We added Murphy and Star so they were trying to work on our pressure seems like it's starting to come together finally! They're going to abuse Rogers this week... Green Bay ought to just rest him and save him because my money is on our line injuring his leg further. Not that I want him hurt but eh he's gonna get banged up Sunday.

This was discussed multiple times on this board. They could have just 5th year optioned him and then franchised him 2x to avoid this.
