It was also the 3rd shortest he got up to speed pretty quick.

Yup, which makes it even more impressive.  And it might have been 2nd or 1st because the others were shorter due to penalty.

I saw some detractor's that didnt want to put Josh Allen in Cam Newton's level for this type of stuff

They might want to rethink it

I wonder why he only ran a 4.75 40 at the Combine?  Not going all out?

As they said in Seabiscuit

I think it's just he is extremely quick , and because he's 6'6 , he's able to reach his top speed extremely quick , so he might max his speed out in 10-15 yards.. On top of that, he runs so physical and is extremely agile for a guy that size.

What he did to Barr , considered an elite lb  , considered a very fast and athletic lb was amazing. The dive, hurdle and stiff arm displayed his speed , quickness, agility , and just awesome physical running style. Barr had to be shocked that this giant QB can run like that .

????

He's also the only quarterback on the list.

How did he not go # 1? To run AND throw like that is a cheat code.

he was tanking so that we could get him. he has secretly been enthralled with the Buffalo Bills for quite some time now. that dive to the pilon was but a warm up for some table shenanigans!

a player should theoretically be faster on a track than a football field.  A 4.75 40-yard translates to 17.2 MPH.

I wonder what those MPH would be at 10 yard intervals. He seems to accelerate pretty quick too for a tall guy. Usually if they have any speed it's after they get going full speed with the long loping strides.
