Zay looked like a legit slot WR today.

Now we just need 2 outside guys and we’ll be good to go?

20 passes

43 runs

Zay early and caught the ball.

KB?  I’m done with him.

Zay is the least of our problems

In terms of production this season. That's not saying much.

I know, but I still think there is hope he can be decent. kB and Holmes are both useless , i would rather play Ray ray and foster than them

So ... you're telling us Zay is on pace to catch 32 passes for 461 yards. And that with those numbers, he'll be our leading receiver in terms of catches AND yards. Which means:

A. He's the best we have, and we do have a couple highly compensated pass catchers (Clay/KB), so he's clearly not a bust.

B. Our QBs have been so bad that you really can't draw any conclusions about the quality/performance of our receivers this year.

C. I don't care who's playing QB. 32 catches for 461 yards is trash from a high second rounder in his second season.

D. B and C combined.

EDIT: food for thought - QB situations don't get a whole lot worse than the Browns last year, where the legendary Corey Coleman caught 23 balls for 305 yards in just barely over half a season (9 games played).

He doesn't run great routes. He doesn't get separation. He can't go deep. He doesn't track the ball in the air well. He often bobbles it even when he catches it. He doesn't have great awareness or do well by the first down marker, although yesterday he did make one play to get a first down that showed some awareness. He has not shown that many other times near the sidelines or first down marker.

Other than that, he's average.

Sure, that's the message I am sending!!!

(I think the real message is we have bigger problems than Zay)

I'm 100% sure this stat will lead to all sorts of justification about off coverage when teams are beating the bills ass, him being the number 2 receiver or whatever else. I am also in no way shape or form saying Jones is anywhere near the level the guys they mention. I just saw this and wanted to point it out.

I will say, calling him the biggest bust in living memory may be a bit of an exaggeration.
