Leslie Frazier gets post game ball

McDermott is a leader. Every time you think this thing might come apart he stays the course, doesn't panic and leads from the front.

I think Frazier had just got a bit passive in his play calling. Sean doing it last week in the 2nd half was probably one of those "let's get back to who we are" moments and he picked it up and ran with it today.

It is amazing how much better things are after a win

It really is. I am now looking at the schedule and saying "even if we lose to Green Bay - Houston's D is a mess, Tennessee can't score and Indy are still rebuilding. There is a route to 4-4 through 8 games and then......

Realistically I think 2-6 or 3-5 is more likely. But my word hard not to feel good tonight. That was a proper Bills team again. The first game and a half was hard to watch.

this and i'm sure Frazier watched the second half of last week' s game tape and realized who we are and what Sean wants the D to play like.

They looked a lot more aggressive with the playcalling on the defensive side of the ball this game.

I wonder if the conversation McD had with him was basically "look, just do your thing, don't be scared about it. call what you think is right, don't be afraid to make a mistake on it"

Yep. This is much more how we called D for the first half of last season. After the back to back defeats against the Jets and Saints we did get a bit vanilla and passive the rest of the way but it worked for us and we made the playoffs. However, who we are is much more this style.

I may not be on Beane but I love Coach.

Beane needs to stop stripping the roster and start giving McDermott some talent to work with.

Maybe Beane is the 'villian' who had to do the strip down that was 10 years past due, but he needs to find a gem or two.

I'm with you there.

Our blocking wasn't great, but it was lightyears better than the first game and a half.

Houson's D is a huge mess, so that game is a tossup to me, since they are so talented they could turn it around at any time.

Titan's offense looks awful. Their D isn't terrible, but we might be looking at Blaine Gabbert at QB instead of Mariota, that would be AWESOME.

Indy is pretty much where we are in terms of consistency/talent I believe, so that could be a really good game.

I'm going to pencil in GB as a loss, even after the big game this week, as Rodgers is REALLY good at home, like the best home QB in league history. I don't foresee us forcing 4+ turnovers against him, but you never know.

if there is one thing that concerns me, it would be that 3 game stretch and how we started out this year. this is the NFL, you can't do that stuff. you have to bring your A game each and every day, each and every game. let's hope those stretchs were anomalies and not something that is going to rear it's ugly head when we least expect it. with that being said... this is the Buffalo Bills we are talking about and i hate to say it but it wouldn't be surprising.

it is hard for us to have nice things.
