Juice_32 Posted September 24, 2018 Share Posted September 24, 2018 I've been saying it since week one. Star has been really good. He's either eating a double or he's destroying his guy 1 on 1. It won't show on the stat sheet but he has been a good addition. As a whole they seem to be disguising the looks in the front 7 pre snap more than they did early on. Couple this with the fact that Jerry Hughes has decided to play like a madman and boom, pass rush. The best part about it all is that thus far it hasn't hurt the run D. He and Kyle were doing a great job of compressing the pocket while Hughes was going to work. Gotta give the secondary credit too, they had good coverage a lot of the day. Nihilarian Posted September 24, 2018 Share Posted September 24, 2018 A lot might have to do with the fact that Leslie Frazier was the Vikings defensive coordinator in 2007 to the Vikes head coach before leaving in 2013. Teams tend to keep the same playbooks and just change some play calls and signals, nomenclature. If this was the case it might be a big reason both the Buffalo Bills offense and defense knew what to expect each play. I'm not trying to take anything away from those Bills coaches and players but it just might be the reason why a 16 point underdog blew out a team favored to go to the SB this year "in" their stadium.
