Common sense said he is the biggest liability on any NFL roster, and the team would be better served cutting him than putting him on the field again. The stretch is difficult, if Allen survives it he could steady himself and team for a late season run with the way the schedule is structured. What type of disfunction are we talking about? And between whom? This is the first time in a long time that the coach and GM actually seem like they’re on the same page. I can see where maybe staff members that preceded McDermott might be uneasy, because he has not been hesitant to make changes and clear out the last regime.
