Delaware State isn't very good but at least UB is doing what your are supposed to do to a middling FCS team. They play at Temple next Saturday and the Owls lost to FCS Villanova on their home field today. That's a beauty contest for about a dozen teams. My hope is UB could go undefeated, make the top 25 and get a decent bowl game against a name opponent and upset them. So if the Bulls got a good recruiting push from that, those players are 2-3 years into the program. If they can make some noise this year and next year and use that to recruit hard, they might start that virtuous circle where success breeds success. The Dollar General Bowl (traditionally conference champion, if not Group of Five team) versus Sun Belt The Camellia Bowl versus Sun Belt The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl versus Mountain West The Frisco Bowl versus American The Bahamas Bowl versus C-USA The Quick Lane Bowl if either the ACC or Big 10 cannot fill their contracted slot.
