That's almost never the case in the NFL especially at MLB. I don't know if he is having problems processing information, that could certainly be the case and maybe time will make it better. By all accounts he's done extremely well in the practice setting and he has the full confidence of the coaches and players. What are the expectations? Instincts are an expectation. It was a criticism of Edmunds in his draft profile. I think he’s going to be a player, and is still learning the position. As fans we can love the athleticism while still being concerned about his football instincts.
