Multiple angles show a hit with the shoulder and a textbook hit at that...... This rule will destroy the game.... Sure, the announcer says he's impressed with his poise in the pocket, which I can see to an extent, but you think he'd find someone down the field occasionally. The only down field passes I've seen are to guys that are basically wide open. It may destroy the game, but according to the rule, if a player lowers his head to initiate contact, it is irrelevant if the shoulder makes contact.
