None of the backup CBs seem to be playing well and Leonard was familiar with Coach McD's scheme which Frasier is running. NewEraBills Posted August 16, 2018 Share Posted August 16, 2018 I think Taron Johnson will fill the role nicely. He's given up some plays, but he was tight in his coverage. He just needs to find the ball faster or learn how NFL WR's try to set up DB's to not make a play on the ball. Johnson (Taron) should be fine IMO. Most likely did not want to be here considering what he signed for with the Browns wasn't as much as most thought he'd get . I'm guessing also that maybe McBeane didn't want him back because of his injury history. Its a real slap in the face to choose the Browns over us.
