The stage is certainly set for Zay Jones to have a rebound and breakout season in 2018. He is in a new offense that certainly appears to be more modern in nature and should better utilize his skillset. Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is all about creating and using mismatches to make his offense hum. That in and of itself should help the second-year wideout.

He will also most likely be a featured wide receiver in the Bills offense. This should create plenty of opportunities for him to catch passes and prove that his 2017 season was a fluke. Based on his college numbers at East Carolina you can certainly see that he has the talent to succeed.

I am just glad I grew up in a time where social media wasn't a thing. Sure Zay's antics were on the extreme side but I am very glad none of the stupid **** I did in the military in my early twenties ever got caught on video.  I hope he can bounce back and be a solid contributor to the team this year.

I am not going to get too excited.  So they claim he is catching everything, just like he did in college but he is also catching under non-contact.  Until he catches everything under contact it doesn't mean anything to me.  He really hasn't proven he can be a reliable receiver in the NFL when the hits are coming.

Also I think if he can remain healthy Kelvin Benjamin is going to be the "featured" WR.

The whole road to redemption thing is over the top.. If he screwed the pooch for multiple seasons then we talk road to redemption..

I chalk last year to being a rookie and a young man going through the college of hard knocks.

I expect him to improve a bunch this year.....  I figure he learned a few very solid lessons early on and that might be the best thing that could of happened to him

The article said Zay would likely be a featured WR, not the featured WR. Some teams actually have two good receivers.

I dont think Zay Jones will be a featured WR at all, what has he shown in the NFL to warrant that, nothing. How was his off season, borderline disaster.  He was great in Tier II level college ball and was a high pick, ignoring that he is nothing special.

If he can play like he has in camp... it’s simply huge. They invested a 2nd round in him. They could have 2 1st rd picks and a 2nd rd pick out there at WR ... let’s see how they do with a new QB and offense. Might not be as bad as we think at WR.

a rookie season. Plenty of WR's struggle their rookie years even ones drafted higher than Zay....... The offseason thing I chalk up to be young dumb and full of cum. We all walked that walk at one time. Let bygones be bygones and see how he does in his sophomore year.

I'm hopeful.. I think he learned some tough lessons and will be better for it myself

This is where I am.  I'm on record predicting good things for Zay.  If Coleman can get it together, then suddenly there are those three (including KB) plus Kerley and Ray-Ray.  Not shabby at all.

Yeah, RoyBatty, he hasn't taken a single handoff, and the damn coaches keep splitting Jones out wide, almost like he's a wide receiver, or something ?

Hope you are correct, i am just trying to be realistic, I actually have more hope for Coleman coming to a different team.

I'm a Zay homer, I'll admit it. I've been fortunate to know him for several years. He is dialed in, we've got our number 2.

And for all the headcase jokes, he isn't, I don't expect anyone to believe me, but he isn't. He's one of the finest human beings I know.
