Interesting that Mayfield, Darnold and Rudolph were on the radar, but no mention of the other guy.

I thought the same thing, reread the article again to see if I missed it.  They Even mention Rudolf...

The congregation here at Our Lady of the Sacred Completion Percentage are appalled at the blasphemous heresy spread by Brandon Beans and his demonic cohorts. Any one who would dare question the literal truth of the Holy Completion Percentage is surely destined to suffer the fires of hell for all eternity. Repent ye heretics, REPENT!!

btw, Casino Night has been moved to next Thursday in the parish center from 7 to 11.

this prompted me to watch his senior bowl performance and i was impressed mostly by his pocket presence. i'm basing my opinion of him based on this game because it's the last one he played.  9-13 158 2td 0 int. ...and at least 2 in completions were all on the receiver.

i think he's gonna be good but i hope he sits for as long as possible so i hope we are winning games and early on as well.

I believe "other guys" are mentioned as "any quarterback that was in this thing"

Please keep in mind when Beane was asked if they'd be bringing in Rosen as one of their 30 pre-draft visits, he answered "oh yeah" before the reporter finished the question, so to think they weren't interested in Rosen is probably as revisionist as thinking they were excessively interested based on the above.

One cool thing I took from it was the detail about how they evaluated every throw he ever made multiple times. Then they put the other top guys in the same position to predict what they would have done.

I wanted Rosen, I'll admit it, but after watching every full game of Allen I could find it is hard not to be impressed. Baker, Rosen or Darnold on the same team would have been mid 50's comp % too. And Rosen would probably be in a body bag.

The vetting process started back in August of last year

So, what did the Buffalo Bills see in Allen that ultimately led general manager Brandon Beane to trade up and select him with the No. 7 overall pick?

There was a thread about Darnold sometime back and how the NYJ had all this QB work done while Brandon Beane was saying "we're not ready to rank them yet..." blah blah at the Combine.  I called "shenanigans" and said they'd done the work, Beane might not be ready to do a final ranking but they'd been doing homework, watching film, live games as much as any team in need of a QB.

From this, it would appear "shenanigans" was the right call.

I was going to "thumbs up" your post but I'm afraid that would be an implied endorsement of your avatar which I find to be highly offensive to the fine reputations of murderous clowns everywhere.

I remember that and agreed at the time. Beane is quietly clever in front of a camera. He says nothing most of the time.

I wonder if they did the same analysis with the other candidates.
