Interesting, thanks. I will definitely read further into that.

Note that the original ICA was created by a hand picked task force of select officers from those agencies too. It wasn't the full agencies involved in the investigation. This is a DIRECT contradiction to standard procedure. After the WMD debacle in Iraq, which was created by circular intelligence for the most part, Clapper and Brennan rewrote the protocols for how inter agency investigations would be done in the future. Namely, the goal was NOT to use small, hand picked teams but to use larger teams with more voices and ideas.

Brennan and Clapper ripped up those rules when they rushed the ICA out the door.

So it's not only that it wasn't all 17 intel agencies, it wasn't even the full agreement of the three agencies who compiled the report.

It's a very misleading, and oft repeated, lie that was designed to confuse this whole investigation from the start.

Also a valid point:

Second-most.  James Taylor serenading the French was the most humiliating.

I would argue James Taylor was embarrassing, sad, pathetic and excruciatingly painful to watch, but the idea that Hillary Clinton thought it was a good idea make up a fake Reset button as a gesture, and then NOT have the most basic of senses to proofread the single word was the truest sense of humiliation.

The traitors and the criminals are the ones who put out the indictments on the mystery

russians, right before the helinski summit. Obviously these are the people that want to

put a cloud over trumps legitimacy on becoming president, and are terrified of losing

their power. I mean, phishing, really. The internet has been around how long

now and so called morons are still falling for a phishing scam? Seriously, i thought

trump would be able to fight and hold back these creeps, but honestly it feels like we

are going to slip into a socialist system, with the government taking full control over everything.

RIP america. Looks like tibs and all the rest of the america haters are going to get their wish.

Quote

In his testimony, Simpson recounted his mounting suspicion that the carefully cultivated image of Browder as an anti-corruption crusader was perhaps something of a fiction.

Simpson testified that Browder’s “determined effort to avoid testifying under oath, including running away from subpoenas and changing—frequently changing lawyers and making lurid allegations against us, including that, you know, he thought we were KGB assassins in the parking lot of Aspen, Colorado, when we served the subpoena, all raised questions in my mind about why he was so determined to not have to answer questions under oath about things that happened in Russia.”

Interestingly, Simpson recalled that when he first met Browder, “I was working on a story about Vladimir Putin[’s] corruption and he lectured me about how have [sic]Vladimir Putin was not corrupt and how he was the best thing that ever happened to Russia.”

Perfect. Getting them to double down on stupid.

If I were a vengeful man, which I'm not, I'd love to be able to live inside the heads of my enemies like Trump does. No one does it better.

US reps certainly met with the Japanese after the War.  FDR had died by then, I guess that could have been looked up on Google.....

Hell, as DC Tom posted earlier Cordell Hull met with the Japanese Ambassadors as Pearl Harbor was being bombed.

I see the surrender is going as planned. I'm impressed you all pulled it off less than two years into the term.

Forget the (inaccurate) word choice above, what would be your desired outcome with Russia and US relations in light of the 2016 election? Would you prefer a shooting war? A nuclear war? A cyber war?
