You're thinking of the days when a presidential candidate could conduct a foreign policy tour of Europe and not only not get accused of collusion with foreign powers, but win a Nobel Prize for it. How did attitudes in our country get this !@#$ed up, that Democratic presidential candidates can conduct foreign policy, but Republican Presidents shouldn't be permitted to?
