JerseyBills Posted June 4, 2018 Share Posted June 4, 2018 Best RB in the game since 2013, statistically. He was magnificent last year, and hasn't lost a step at all. I think people don't talk enough about how great he is at avoiding big hits we see RB regularly take,which is why I see him putting up elite numbers for 2-3 more years for sure. RB doesn't mean much anymore, too bad as it used to be a top position for honour and glory out there he doesn't really take a beating as he's not a high contact guy. that's why he's generally avoided injury. Still feel guys like Shady are highly regarded , it's just that most RB nowadays have a good 2-3 years and fall off. As Nate Burleson said at halftime of the WildCard game,"He's the best player on the field" Which is quite a compliment considering the guys on that Jax D. And quite honestly--in shady's favor..I dont think Shady needs anything at all more in his career to augment the argument for him. He paid his dues and has played at a high level for more time than most RBs.He is almost 30 and has done everything that he could do.
