What would it take to get a player like Tyler Lockett

Recommended Posts

It's obvious that we need some speed and someone that can get down the field. Would it be worth it to offer the Seahawks a late round pick for next year ajd see if we can get him. He's only 25 and is still under his rookie contract so he is only set to make $1.9 million. Do any of you think it would be worth it?

Why is everyone so hooked on getting a speed guy?

Clearly the Bills aren’t

If and when Josh Allen is the QB, we'll need a speed guy to keep defenses honest and harness one of the few things Allen brings to the table: a huge arm.

Not sure we need that guy right now though.  Depends on how quickly they intend to push Allen through.

It's sad when we have to talk about trying to acquire mediocre receiving talent because the bills have done such a crap job targeting skill position talent.

That falls on beane and McDermott.

Or Beane and mcdermott realize poor qb play leads to poor wr play.  Maybe they think they will get better qb play this year which will lead to better wr play and we will all forget about needing a "star" wr.

Sammy would have been a nice target for Allen.  We have the least threatening receivers in the nfl.

im not high on McCarron and wasn’t a big fan of Allen but man, they have set them up poorly.

Not at $16 million per year.

I think Sammy would have been a monster with a big armed qb like Allen. Our receivers don’t scare defenses in the slightest.  And our front office hasn’t shown an ability to find ones that do. You are severely limiting your offense with a big play threat.  We have a bunch of slow outside wrs and slot guys.
