Boba Fett stand alone Star Wars film announced

Recommended Posts

I'm holding out for the stand-alone Jabba the Hut movie.

The touching scene when he goes home, alone again, and checks the contents of his refrigerator to find it only contains bottled water. The ultimate admission that his menacing anger is the result of loneliness. Accepting the fact that he's a fat slug who can't find love.

About damn time. Boba Fett should have been the first stand-alone they made.

Disney will be the death to the franchise.  Just watch!

It will get so bad it will have to be resurrected down the road, once everyone has turned off to it.

If Episodes 1-3 didn't kill this franchise, nothing will.

Hate to break it to you but the franchise started to suck by the second movie. By the 4th and 5th film it was unwatchable.

When will we get a standalone Porkins movie?

I have no idea what those are.

Depends on what your definition of "death" is.  Disney will keep it alive until it stops making money for them and will probably continue it a hell of a lot longer than Lucas would have.  But the greatness of the franchise died after the first trilogy.

From what I hear, it got a lot worse with The Last Jedi (still haven't seen that one) and the Solo movie is allegedly in the same camp.

I didn't really get the Disney hate at the beginning, largely b/c I don't really follow Disney entertainment products...but now I'm starting to catch on!

"Porkins" was the fat guy who flew an X-wing fighter in the very first Star Wars movie.  He was involved in the "trench run" to blow up the Death Star at the end of the movie.

He was on screen for a few seconds before being blown up by a well placed laser cannon blast.

Here's some video:

Please.  Nothing would compare to a standalone Jar Jar Binks movie.

Meesa would love that!

1 and 2 for sure.  I actually liked #3 -- it was fun to see the "birth" of Vader.

I haven't watched SW since Return of the Jedi.  Just heard stuff here and there.  I though Boba Fett was a food.

Can an anyone give a sentence about who he isn't?

He isn't eaten by a sarlaac.

He isn't different, genetically, from any clone trooper.

He's not a Greenwich Fett, he's one of the Newport Fett's.  Completely different group.  Much more hoity toity.

If only because we would get to see it die at the end.
