Good call, didn't even think bout that. But I still hear numerous analysts say Edwards over the radio. Not a huge deal, but his name is not that hard to remember imo lol

Peterman, McCarron Splitting 1st team QB Reps at Bills' OTAs

Here are some notes and observations from today’s Bills’ OTA:

—Running back LeSean McCoy missed most of the practice with an illness, according to the team.  However, he showed up later in the session and participated in 11-on-11 drills.  Cornerback Vontae Davis and defensive tackle Star Lotulelei were the only regulars not seen on the field for the entire session, other than wide receiver Zay Jones, who head coach Sean McDermott announced had knee surgery and will miss some time.

Peterman getting all the reps. How come no one on here is freaking out about that yet?

Peterman has an extra year with the playbook

McD seems intent on making Allen earn it.

Peterman is an angel.

It’s May.

It was simply Peterman's day to take 1st team reps as he's been alternating with AJM on a daily basis.   Not much to it at this early stage of OTAs.

We are losing like a guy a year now while allegiances are so strong to a particular guy they are willing to quit their fandom. That’s crazy to me.

I'm interested to see if the offensive line won't be absolutely awful.

Head Coach Sean McDermott Addresses Zay Jones’ Surgery, National Anthem Policy and QB Competition

Opening Statement: Alright, good morning. We’ll go ahead and get started. I’m going to start off with a little injury update: Zay Jones had surgery late last week on his knee. He’ll be out the remainder of this spring. Other than that, I don’t have a timetable for you at this point other than it was best for us to get this done now. It’s something [where] he had a little bit of an ongoing deal as he was rehabbing the knee and of course, he was additionally rehabbing the shoulder as well. From that, I’ll open it up to your questions.

Allen cannot see the field in the regular season until they go through another draft and free agency. These poor qbs don't stand a chance.

McCarron-story-5-24.jpg
Three days in to OTAs and three days in to the open competition at quarterback. Josh Allen, A.J. McCarron and Nathan Peterman have spent that time taking reps, while learning Brian Daboll’s new scheme for the offense. Here are some of their thoughts on how they feel they’re faring following the first week of practices.
