(Doesn’t matter who...) And C Rid is sitting there at 22. Consensus #1 WR in the draft. Do we take him? i know here are more variables at play here (who’s left...etc). Rocky Landing Posted April 25, 2018 Share Posted April 25, 2018 I generally think that a BPA approach to the draft is smarter. But, this year is different. First pick should be BQBA. I think the next four picks after that should be BPA among OL, LB, and WR. If that is Ridley at 22, then so be it. But, I suspect it won't be. I would think that Billy Price, Isaiah Wynn, Roquan Smith, or Mike McGlinchey, would all be around Ridley's level on the Bill's draft board, and one or more could be available at 22. I could certainly see any one of them being considered before Ridley. I don't like the concerns that scouts have expressed regarding Ridley's durability, and I hope he's not Zay Jones 2.0. But, if he's the highest of those three positions at 22 (assuming we still have 22), then yeah, we should take him.
