He does a great job as long as The Pegulas keep him away from the football side of the operation. He sells tickets, which is a very important part of a successful organization. I have a feeling he may be pulling some strings behind the scenes though. I think it's probably very difficult for him to let go of the football decisions. Wasn't he involved in the Rex Ryan hire? And it's been said he's in the draft room and at the scouting combine. It seems unfair that football people are fired for the teams failures but the business side guy remains, even though he is still pulling strings for the football side? Fan boy '92
So you think Russ Brandon is hanging out in the draft room. Maybe he's the real reason we traded up for Sammy. I hope Brandon Beane can fight him off. You're right though, without RB, we might not have had to watch two years of Rex Ryan.

Scorp83
Russ doesn't bother me... he doesn't do anything football related for the Bills. All he does is sale "Hope" every year. I would keep him too...he does that well. The stadium is packed every Sunday
BuffaloRush
He has a job because he’s good at selling tickets. At least for the Bills. It sounds like Russ is far removed from Football Operations and that’s a good thing

oldmanfan
Brandon is President of Pegula Sports Entertainment. He runs the business side of the Sabres and the Bills. And he's good at that. And yes, the President of the organization is there in the room during the draft. Find me any team where the president is not in the room during the draft.

Captain Murica
This is a name I haven't heard in a while. He has 0 influence when it comes to the football team's construction.

But I don't think it sways Beane's thinking at all.
