A current look at the heralded 2014 WR class

Recommended Posts

Arguably still one of the best receiver classes ever. I'd say it is the best ever IMO. Just cause talent wants deservedly more money doesn't mean that were a bad class. Most knew they were putting prior rookie WRs to shame (best rookies since Moss) and wanted compensation and we're disgruntled.

Hate to say it but KB is the weakest among those top 5 or 6 from what I've seen. And he's still a stud

Based on what? His untapped elite talent? I'll concede he is better than Lee.

That.... The only one you could even argue is landry... and I'd say anyone could run his little 5 yard out routes.

Your post was awful and is just wrong.

Scott, I would agree with your take, except maybe for Adams, who 2 seasons after his draft took literally over Jordy, even after his return from surgery and he made him expandable in Green Bay...

Based on the stats Landry has over 200 more receptions than Sammy & 1,000 more yards.  How could you possibly say Watkins is better than him; my god.

The legend of Sammy lives on and on!  Don’t try and fight it. Just embrace it.

Dont you get it. Its not what they actually do on the field that counts. Its what they could do or you think they could do. And the Bills drafted him so he is obviously better.

On how many targets ? Watkins has 25 TDs to Landry's 22 on less than half the catches at 192. His YPC is significantly higher.  He probably missed about 12 starts or so due to an injury. Landry's numbers are strictly due to volume. Watkins had exactly one year on a team that made any effort at all to get him the ball ( maybe 7 games in BUF where this happened) . It's not hard to glean who is the better WR when comparing SWs stats to Landry's. It's Watkins, and it isn't really even close.
