I just dont know if I want to be tied down to Cousins huge contract unless he is a franchise guy.....and there are a lot of differening opinions on that.....

Meanwhile......players that we dont get at positions "non qb" can be found throughout the draft and in future drafts....this is supposed to be the draft supposidly where you go looking for your franchise guy

Lets get him

Round 1 Pick 22 (22) (BUF),

Round 2 Pick 21 (53) (BUF),

Round 2 Pick 24 (56) (BUF),

2019 Round 1 Pick (BUF)

Draft either Darnold\Rosen\Mayfield (whoever tickles your fancy)

C) TRADE BACK from 22 & DRAFT A QB

Round 1 Pick 30 (MINN): Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville

Round 2 Pick 21: Kolton Miller, OT, UCLA

Round 2 Pick 24: Sony Michel, RB, Georgia

Round 2 Pick 24: Dorance Armstrong Jr., DE/OLB, Kansas

*obviously there is more to consider here like FA but it’s assumed here that Tyrod is gone.

For me it's entirely a question of who is available at #3.

Or for that matter, at 21/22 with regard to trading back.

I like the premise of this poll, but I declined to vote because the options are too specific.

I probably would have gone for option B, with D being a close second, except that I think there are other trade scenarios available to us that I would feel better about. I also wouldn't mind us staying put, but don't necessarily agree with the draft choices.

Interesting.  Man a free agent qb just makes your team better in a lot of ways when you otherwise have to give up 2 first rounders.

There is no way a trade up will involve us giving up our first four picks.   Not even close to any trade chart I have seen, unless we wanted first overall which we don't.

Also, people that know the team know how well Groy played at center (except for his first game)    And how much need we have at DT and LB.  No way do we take a center, I don't care how good he is.  Too many holes much bigger.

Beane is going to leverage his relationship with Gettleman and do a two step trade up to nail our qb.   But we'll still have our 2nd round picks when the dust settles, and a shiny new qb.

I was picking BPA

When you get a rookie QB, go BPA on offense or he will struggle.  We have too many holes on offense to go BPA IMO.  Give the guy the best chance to succeed.

I think it's bc there just isn't much wr talent in this draft.  Some better free agent options.  Like maybe Paul Richardson. Loaded at rb though.

If we get a QB, it'd be a mistake to not load up on offense.  Set the young man up to succeed.

Of the choices posed, Choice A - would be one helluva off season, IMO.

I picked B. 2 caveats though .1 ) not For Allen (that completion % is scary). 2) Please don't give all that up, possibly keep a 1st or 2nd. seems like too much.

Choice A is very close depending what Cousins will need to sign moneywise.
